VILLAGE OF HUNTLEY: A Very Merry Huntley - December 6th - 7th

Village of Huntley recently issued the following announcement. 

Ring in the season with our hometown holiday celebration on Friday,  December 6 and Saturday, December 7.  There are great activities for everyone in the family to enjoy.  Be sure to bring your camera - there will be plenty on festive photo opportunities for your holiday cards!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6

Municipal Complex (10987 Main Street)

3 - 8 pm

4 - 8 pm

  • Kids Room with free craft making 
  • Visit with Mrs. Claus
  • Live Reindeer  
  • Free hot chocolate sponsored by First National Bank Huntley  
Huntley Area Public Library (11000 Ruth Road)

Free ticketed event between 3 - 8:15 pm.  Details at huntleylibrary.org.

  • Photos with Santa
  • Book sale
  • Basket raffles
  • Treasure Hunt for the kids
  • Entertainment
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7

Fellowship Hall - 1st Congregational Church (11628 Main Street)

9 am - 2 pm

  • Indoor Farmers Market & Craft Fair 
9 am - 12 pm

  • 1st Congregational Church Handbell Choir's Cookie Walk
10 am - 2 pm

  • Free kids craft making 
12 pm

  • Handbell Choir performance 
Trinity Lutheran Church (11008 N Church Street)

12 - 2 pm

  • Free family games 
  • Scholastic book fair
Town Square

3 - 6 pm

  • Take a free train ride on the Huntley Holiday Express
  • Free Hot Chocolate

  • Caroling with the Merry Maskers
4 -7 pm

  • Community Pasta Dinner at the Legion Hall
4:45 pm

  • Christmas Tree Decorating Contest winners announced
5 pm

  • Santa arrives on a fire truck
  • Christmas Tree & Town Square Lighting
  • Fireworks show
