Illinois State House District 63 issued the following announcement on Dec. 10
This morning I attended a ceremony to announce the completion of the interchange at Route 23 and the Illinois Tollway south of Marengo, which will open up the western half of McHenry County to development and economic growth. The interchange will be named after McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Keltner, who was killed in the line of duty earlier this year. As you drive by the signs memorializing Deputy Keltner’s sacrifice, please take a moment to reflect on the work that all of our first responders do to protect us.
