Analysis: Woodstock pays $4.28 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Woodstock Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.1 percent of the $1,736,955 the Woodstock Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.28 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Woodstock contributed $1,408,019 to the fund, which saw a $275,437 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $328,649, or 18.9 percent, in 2018. Another $287 came from other unspecified sources.
