Analysis: Fox River Grove pays $8.89 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Fox River Grove Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 89.9 percent of the $581,835 the Fox River Grove Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $8.89 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Fox River Grove contributed $523,016 to the fund, which saw a $171,196 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $58,820, or 10.1 percent, in 2018.
