Illinois State Senate District 32 issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Sen. Craig Wilcox and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) are teaming up to offer a free virtual utilities seminar on Thursday, September 24.
“Join us online, from the comfort of your own home, and learn important information that could help you save money on your utility bills,” said Sen. Wilcox (R-McHenry). The CUB Utilities Virtual Event will be held Thursday, September 24 from 10am to 11am.”
An expert from the Citizens Utility Board will show how to decode utility bills, save money and avoid the pitfalls sometimes associated with new utility companies trying to get you to switch providers.
A online link and password will be posted on the website the afternoon prior to the event. Click on the link 10 minutes before the event start. Then, enter the password. You will be put on hold for a few minutes before event starts at 10am.
