Woodstock Fire Rescue District responded to 491 calls in 2018 - 13.4 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Woodstock Fire Rescue District included 67 fires - 26 structure fires, 19 vehicle fires and 22 other fires. The fire department also responded to six calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $532,360 in fire loss - or about $7,946 per fire.

The department also received 418 false calls, including seven malicious calls and 411 other false calls.

One fire service member was injured in non fire-related incidents.
