Spring Grove Fire Protection District responded to 114 calls in 2018 - 11.6 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Spring Grove included 36 fires - 25 structure fires, one vehicle fire and 10 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $6,038 in fire loss - or about $168 per fire.

The department also received 77 false calls, including one malicious call and 76 other false calls.

One fire service member was injured in fire-related incidents.

The Spring Grove Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $1,740,332 in 2018.
