Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
We are pleased to announce that the Selection Committee of the Blackhawk Area Council Executive Board has chosen Sedrick Robinson to serve as our Scout Executive/CEO of the Council effective December 1, 2020. Shortly thereafter, he began his Scouting career in 2003 as a district executive at the Quapaw Area Council in Little Rock, Arkansas. He also served at the Circle Ten Council in Dallas, TX, moved up through positions of leadership, and in 2015 he was selected to serve as Scout Executive/CEO in Shreveport, Louisiana.
