Q3 2020 Recap: 1 parolee from McHenry County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against justice released on parole in McHenry County during the third quarter of 2020, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the McHenry Times.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2019 when he was 25 years old. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes against justice were paroled during the third quarter of 2020 in each Illinois county.
