Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 8
On Friday, October 15, 2021, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the Grand Opening of Jalsa Bar & Restaurant, 1295 Randall Rd., Ste. 112, Crystal Lake.
Jalsa Bar & Restaurant is the second establishment for owners Nikunj and Dhara Patel, who also own Lucky Penny’s in Cary. They originally opened the location in November of 2019 as Indian Chatpata Swad Restaurant and Indian Spices Grocers. They remodeled the space to make it a welcoming and updated restaurant and bar. They also plan on opening a third location soon, Lucky Lucy’s 7, at 412 NW. Hwy in Fox River Grove.
Jalsa boasts an extensive menu of authentic Indian food, wide selection of Indian beers along with traditional and domestic bar offerings. Jalsa also offers catering services. They have daily happy hour specials and karaoke every Friday and Saturday night.
