Speaker: Jhmira Alexander, President, Public Narrative 

Storytelling helps us share information in a way that creates emotional connection between people and ideas. Stories convey the culture, history and values that unite people. Participants in this workshop will learn the importance of telling a story when talking about work, life, and personal experiences. Discover techniques to communicate more effectively; identify best practices for storytelling to promote your mission and cultivate relationships. Learn how to engage diverse audiences online and offline. 

Objectives: How to develop stories that reflect your mission, vision and values. How to direct your story to your audience including identifying what audiences will hear and any potential roadblocks. How to communicate effectively with diverse audiences creating a culture of inclusion.
