Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the New Location of MT Performance

On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new location of MT Performance at 1095 Pingree Rd, Ste. 117, in Crystal Lake.

 

MT Performance is a full-service workout facility and gym, specializing in athletic performance.  The new location provides a larger space to house a variety of workout options and group sizes. MT Performance specializes in creating individualized programs that emphasize durability and movement profiles needed for an athlete’s needs, providing a framework for athletes to succeed in their individual sport.

 

MT Performance owner, Marcus Thimios, is a Cary-Grove High School graduate.  He then attended Indiana University and earned a B.S. in Exercise Science.  Thimios is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

 

“Our tag line is ‘Creating Confidence and Competence’.  This has been my goal since starting this business,” says Thimios, “Whether I am working with an 8-year-old athlete simply trying to figure out how to control basic motor patterns, or a middle-aged adult with a desk job dealing with back pain, this has always been the target.”

 

MT Performance offers individual and group fitness training.  Their range of services encompasses Youth Development, Weight Room Prep, High School Athletics, General Population Training, and Elite Athletics.
