-When requests come in, we check the Tier II site with the state, suggest that they check with their local fire department and forward to Planning & Development and Health when applicable.

Question on Meeting Frequency

-At this point we need to fill the position of Chairman.
-Tom Smith/CHUG has offered to fill the Vice-Chairmen position.
-Erica Gregory/Leica Biosystems has offered to fill the Secretary position.
-Carolyn Campbell/County Board is the new liaison to LEPC.
David Christensen/EMA Director – LEPC’s across the state are trying to determine their value. Facilities used to file with us but now file with the state online. Some counties use their LEPC’s to help with EOP (Emergency Operation Plan) planning. Directed to comply with the Community Right to Know is followed. We have been looking for a greater purpose; trying to staff LEPC.
