At the end of the 21-22 school year during a May 25, 2022 Board of Education meeting, the Nippersink school district said goodbye to six long-serving teachers from the Spring Grove Elementary school. All six of the educators had over 20 years of experience in the Spring Grove building at the time of their retirement, three of them had over 30 years of experience.

"We have 150 years of incredible talent and commitment right here," President of the Board Liz Young said at the meeting.

According to the minutes of the meeting, The board thanked teachers Linda Achramowicz (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade), Brenda Hartmann (Reading Resource, 4th Grade), Carol Moran (Art), Deborah Zahn (Kindergarten), Lisa Tate (1st Grade), and Mary Kay Kaczmarek (Reading Recovery) for their dedication to the district. Many of the retirees plan on spending retirement traveling and taking quality time with their families, especially grandchildren.
