City of McHenry Board of Police Commissioners met Nov. 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Police Chairman Sue Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:05 pm in the Police Administration Conference Room with the following Commissioners present John Jones and Mike Roberts. Also present was Chief John Birk; Deputy Chief Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Deb Shuett.

1. Motion to Approve October 5, 2022 Meeting Report
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve meeting minutes. Police Commission John Jones and second by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve the minutes from the October 5, 2022, meeting. Police Commission meeting as presented. All ayes, motion carried.
2. Unfinished Business
Personnel Update – Officers Campos and McClure are in step 3 of the Field Training process.
Both are doing well.
3. New Business
With the approval by the City Council and School District 15 for the SRO program, will be looking to hire 2 additional Officers.
4. Communications
