Approve Previous Minutes

Petersen Park

Jeff Varda spoke about the concerns that still remain at the farm

Green Street Project

The Green Street project was discussed. We will continue to discuss the situation with the addresses.

Plaque Checking

Letter was sent to people who have plaques in their homes or establishments that may need to be updated or repaired.

Pam Kellog spoke about placing a plaque in the Whispering Oaks area/Hanley Mill.

Calendar of Events 2023

A January activity was discussed. Ideas of Coloring books for children were discussed

We also had some discussion of the Remembrance talk.

September Cemetery Walk

May is Historical Month

June is Dairy Month

July will be the 75th year of the Fiesta Days in McHenry

Monty Thank you for submitting pictures inFacebook for the Landmark website

Tom Hillier will investigate some photos from the McHenry Plaindealer

Members of the Landmark Commission were given their badges when working in the community.

Betty Sowinski discussed Historical Society and the Landmark Commission joining together

New Business

Intern needed from one of the high school and also Loyola Students Educational Component File cabinets needed for Petersen Park
