On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate Verbic Orthodontics, 888 Feinberg Ct., in Cary.
The Cary location of Verbic Orthodontics marks the third office location for Dr. Marty Verbic. Dr. Verbic has taken over the practice of Dr. Deanna Schmidt of Schmidt Orthodontics, who has retired after many years of providing exceptional orthodontic care to the community.
“Dr. Schmidt and I knew each other already from professional orthodontic meetings, but a representative from the company that we both buy our braces from, Damon, let me know that she was contemplating the idea of retiring,” says Dr. Verbic, “After we met up, we both thought the transition would work out great. We both had the same treatment philosophy that focused on getting the very best results for our patients along with a great experience.”
“I really like the families in this area. Everyone is down to earth and Cary has a wonderful business community. We always do business locally and have found awesome products, services, and venues for our office events,” Dr. Verbic adds, “The highlight of being in Cary is just getting to know so many new people. It really reminds me of my hometown of DeKalb.”
Dr. Verbic saw how powerful and transforming orthodontics can be in people's lives through the work of a family friend. So, after working for several years as a research engineer, he went back to school to pursue a DDS from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following graduation from dental school, he attended a three-year residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a specialty certificate in Orthodontics and an M.S. degree in Oral Science. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and Illinois State Dental Society.
