Public Comment
The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda or of a general nature. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events) Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting.
Staff Monthly Reports
The Board has the opportunity to ask staff questions regarding the monthly staff reports.
1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All
All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.
A. Village Board and Executive Session Meeting Minutes – June 6, 2023
The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.
B. Accounts Payable – June 20, 2023
The Board will consider the payment of bills.
C. Treasurer’s Report – April 2023
The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.
D. Award of Bid, Lincoln Avenue Sewer Replacement, Ganziano Sewer & Water
The Board will consider awarding the bid for the upgraded replacement of a portion of sewer main on Lincoln Avenue to Ganziano Sewer & Water. Ganziano Sewer & Water was the low bidder on the project, with a total bid of $174,160.
E. Façade Grant Agreement, From Spore to More
The Board will consider authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into an agreement with From Spore to More to provide a façade grant of $497.20 associated with the costs of adding a sign.
F. License Agreement, Train Station Coffeeshop
The Board will consider authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into an agreement with David Joseph authorizing him to operate a coffeeshop at the Village’s train station.
2. Approval: Business Capital Assistance Program Grant, Lincoln Avenue Market The Board will consider authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into an agreement with John Raviolo to provide a Business Capital Assistance Program grant to his business, Lincoln Avenue Market.
3. Discussion: Picnic Grove Park
The Board will continue discussion about concerns related to the popularity of the park during warmer weather months.
