GENERAL SESSION MEETING MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER:

On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, a meeting of the Village of Huntley Police Commission was called to order at 10:32 A.M. at the Municipal Complex, Room C107, 10987 Main Street, Huntley, Illinois 60142. This room is handicap accessible.

PRESENT: Chairman Jim Burgess

Commissioner Dan Maloney

Director of Human Resources Chrissy Hoover

Deputy Chief Linda Hooten

Deputy Chief Amy Williams

ABSENT: Secretary Judy Serrano

Chief Robert Porter

PUBLIC COMMENTS:

None

The general session minutes of March 24, 2023 were reviewed.

A MOTION was made to approve the March 24, 2023 General Session Commission Meeting Minutes.

Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess

Seconded: Commissioner Dan Maloney

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

The Executive Session Meeting Minutes of the March 24, 2023 were reviewed.

A MOTION was made to approve the March 24, 2023 Executive Session Commission Meeting Minutes for content only.

Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess

Seconded: Commissioner Dan Maloney

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

Director of Human Resources Chrissy Hoover presented proposed changes to the Village of Huntley Board of Police Commissioners Rules and Regulations. The Commission discussed potential changes to the scoring process for promotional examinations. No motion was made, proposed changes will be further discussed at a future meeting.

RECESS TO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 11:26 AM

A MOTION was made to recess to Executive Session to discuss the Oral Interviews for the Sergeant promotion process.
