State Senator Craig Wilcox | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) is set to collaborate with Kishwaukee Brewing and K9s4U Dog Rescue for a unique event on September 19. The Barks & Brews event will feature casual conversation, craft brews, and dogs available for adoption.
Scheduled to take place at Kishwaukee Brewing, located at 1900 Dillard Court in Woodstock, the event will run from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
Senator Wilcox expressed enthusiasm about the initiative: “What could be better than a crisp fall evening where constituents can meet and talk with their Senator while enjoying one of Kishwaukee Brewing Company’s famous craft beers? Enjoying that same event surrounded by dogs!” He added that the dogs present are looking for their forever homes, and he hopes the event will help place them with good families.
K9s4U will have several dogs available for adoption during the event. Attendees interested in adopting a pet can complete same-day adoptions with proper paperwork.
“I have had rescue dogs and have always been an advocate for pet adoptions,” said Senator Wilcox. “I hope we are able to place several dogs through this collaborative event.”
