State Rep. Steve Reick highlighted an upcoming McHenry County event, saying, "There is no beginning or end of the tour, just choose the farms you wish to visit and go during the stroll’s time frame," in a Sept. 24 Facebook post.
"The 2024 McHenry County Farm Stroll is a self-guided tour of McHenry County's diversified family farms," said Steven Reick, State Representative, according to Facebook. "There is no beginning or end of the tour, just choose the farms you wish to visit and go during the stroll's time frame. This great event is this upcoming Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 10 AM to 4 PM!"
In his Facebook post, Reick shared a link to a news release on the event on his website. According to the release, Farm Stroll is an event that is free of charge, but pets are not allowed to attend. Children, however, are welcome with parental supervision. Some of the farms will have tours and demonstrations; others will have products and produce for sale.
