McHenry County will host its annual Farm Stroll on September 24, 2024. The event is a self-guided tour of the county's diverse family farms. Participants can choose which farms to visit during the designated time frame, as there is no set route or schedule.
There is no admission fee for the Farm Stroll. However, visitors are encouraged to bring cash since individual farmers will be selling their products and produce. Some farms will offer tours and demonstrations. Visitors are advised to follow farmers' instructions, respect animals, and supervise children closely. Pets are not allowed at the event, and attendees should wash their hands after contact with livestock.
