State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) will hold the final Conversations Untapped event of his outreach tour in Lake Villa on August 28. The event will take place at Harbor Brewing Company, located at 136 Cedar Avenue, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
“These low-key events provide the perfect atmosphere for people to come out and have casual conversations with their State Senator,” said Wilcox. “I host these events at local restaurants and breweries so people can enjoy some of the great food and refreshments this region has to offer while we chat. It’s a great way to showcase local businesses while reaching out to my constituents in their own communities.”
The Conversations Untapped series previously took place in Cary, Antioch, and Woodstock. Wilcox explained that he is preparing for the legislature’s fall veto session in October and values input from residents. “As we begin to prepare for the legislature’s fall veto session in October, I look forward to hearing from my constituents about issues that are important to them and how I can best work on their behalf in Springfield,” added Wilcox. “I’m hoping for a large turnout as I wrap up this series of outreach events.”
Wilcox was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State Senate in 2018, representing the state’s 32nd Senate District after replacing Pamela Althoff.
