B. Intergovernmental Agreement with the McHenry Township Fire Protection District for the joint purchase and maintenance of a new remote siren tower located at 7204 W Illinois Route 120, McHenry, Illinois (Chief Birk)

C. Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village of Prairie Grove for plan review and building inspection services (Director Polerecky)

D. Renewal of the City’s subscription with Palo Alto and authorize the Mayor to sign the terms and conditions associated with the 3-year renewal of Palo Alto (Chief Birk)

Proposal from FGM Architects for architectural and engineering services specific to the renovation of the men’s locker room and authorize the Mayor to enter into a professional services agreement with FGM Architects, with the specific conditions listed in the proposal for an amount not to exceed $33,400.00 (Chief Birk)

A. IDOT Intergovernmental Agreements – Route 31 Widening Project

Motion to execute two Intergovernmental Agreements between the City of McHenry and the State of Illinois and pass two Funding Resolutions in reference to IDOT contracts 62K69 and 62U72 (Director Adams) 

B. West Beach Parking Lot Bid Award

Motion to award a bid to Curran Contracting dba Royer Paving for the re-paving of West Beach Parking lot in the amount of $49,379.40, and to authorize the Mayor’s signature of the agreement stating these terms (Director Hobson)

C. Grocery Tax

Motion to adopt an Ordinance imposing a 1% Municipal Grocery Retailers’ Occupation and Municipal Grocery Service Occupation Tax, effective January 1, 2026 (Director Lynch)

D. Strategic Economic Development Policy

Motion to adopt the Strategic Economic Development Policy (Director Martin)

E. Business Improvement Grant Program

Motion to adopt the Business Improvement Grant Program as presented (Director Martin)
