Woodstock's library has a new logo.
The Woodstock Public Library Board approved a new logo for the library at its meeting last month.
According to the meeting's minutes, the logo design corresponds with the 125th anniversary of the library's opening on March 23, 1891.
The board also discussed matters relating to a celebration of this anniversary.
Trustees also began discussions regarding the Art Grant Tile Project. which will allow community members to design individual tiles to be put on display in the facility’s vestibule area. According to the library, this is a result of a grant from the McHenry Community Foundation. Additional details were to be discussed at the board’s meeting on Jan. 7, the minutes said.
The board also discussed the dates that the library would be closed due to holidays and the list of dates that was presented was approved.
