Algonquin village trustees will meet as a committee of the whole at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss several requests to hold public events.
Trustees will be considering a request to hold a concert series at Riverfront Park on Thursdays from June 23 to Aug. 18. Other requests include a Harvest Hustle 5K Run and Walk in the Downtown area on Oct. 1 and the Village of Algonquin Lunch Hour Entertainment Series on Fridays from June 17 to July 29.
Trustees also will discuss the Cemetery Fund, the Swimming Pool Fund, the Vehicle Maintenance Service Fund, the Water and Sewer Operating Fund and the Building Services Fund. There will also be a presentation of a new Algonquin Recreation logo.
The village’s Department of Community Development and Public Works and Safety will also present its recommendations relating to the Harper Drive Road rehabilitation project.
