Lake in the Hills will be conducting focus group sessions near the end of the month to discuss the viability of retail and grocery choices in the village among other items.
The approximately hour long group sessions are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 23, 24 and 25 at Village Hall.
The focus of the groups will be on overall quality of life and options for shopping for food, retail items and automobiles. Refreshments will be available at all meetings.
“These group discussions will be very important to our planning process in regards to future commercial development” Village Economic Development Coordinator George Hahne said. “Focus groups can reveal a wealth of detailed information from our residents who can be an important part of the process in the growth and direction of their community.”
