Lake in the Hills is accepting entries for its annual photography contest to find photos depicting village life that will be showcased on the village’s website, calendars and village publications.
Subjects of the photographs need to located within the 60156 ZIP code and individuals submitting photos must be the person who created the image. Photos must have a resolution at least 300 dpi, be at least 1500 pixels by 1200 pixels and must have been taken within the past two years. The village will not accept images with heavy amounts of editing outside of minor retouching and cropping.
Individuals may enter using a PDF entry form available on the village website and emailed to Tricia O’Donnell at todonnell@lith.org. Entries may also be mailed to Tricia O’Donnell, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156. Mailed entries should consist of a CD with the image and a copy of the entry form available on the village website. Entries should be submitted or postmarked by May 27.
All photographs will become the property of the village upon entry.
