The Crystal Lake Economic Development Committee will be holding its regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Crystal Lake Municipal Complex to discuss the I Shop Crystal Lake program.
The I Shop Crystal Lake program is a promotion to encourage residents to shop at local business. The city’s website says local shopping helps the city’s economy and supports jobs in the area.
Businesses that have upcoming anniversary dates and tour updates also will be discussed.
Organization reports also will be presented by Downtown Crystal Lake, MyEDC, the Chamber of Commerce and the city of Crystal Lake.
During this meeting the committee will be reviewing the meeting minutes from its previous session that took place on Feb. 23 and there will also be a vote to approve them. Prior to the main discussion points the committee will be allowing members of the public to ask questions and to offer commentary.
