The Bull Valley Village Board discussed strategic planning, preliminary budget figures for 2016-17 and in long-term goals at its Feb. 10 meeting.
The trustees discussed goals relating to fiscal health of the village. The meeting notes state that the board indicated that this area needs to have goals that are evident and it was suggested that this be determined by funds within the village’s reserve. It was also noted that annexation goals should be under fiscal health goals rather than as its own item.
The board also discussed the utilization of social media marketing and to encourage development of small businesses.
This meeting also covered an early version of the planned budget for the village.
