The Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall on a proposed amendment to the comprehensive plan to allow the development of a 503-unit residential development near Route 176 and Bryn Mawr Lane.
The commission will consider changing the land use designation for the approximately 192-acre site from estate residential and office to urban residential, high density residential and commerce.
A proposed preliminary plat of subdivision indicates the area would be subdivided into 300 single-family lots and 203 multifamily lots.
