Spring Grove Police Pension Board considers board officer appointments

The Spring Grove Police Pension Board met Tuesday.

The Police Pension Board is required by state statute and is responsible for maintaining and managing the retirement assets accumulated from financial contributions by both active police officers an annual tax levy contributions. The commission meets quarterly and as necessary.

Here is the meeting agenda as provided by Spring Grove:

a. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, quarterly meeting

5. Treasurer Report/Investment Report

a. Approve treasurer investment report as of June 30, 2016

b. Ratify payment of $449.20 to Dept. of Insurance for annual compliance fee

c. Allocation of property tax

6. Communications and Special Reports/Presentations

a. Sawyer, Falduto investment fund update

b. Lauterbach & Amen actuarial presentation

7. Consideration of and action upon applicants for admission to, benefits from, and/or withdrawal of members from Fund.

a. Appoint board officers

b. Approve new security administrator authorization form for Dept. of Insurance
