Boys' golf gets the sports seasons started for Woodstock North the week of Aug. 15, according to the school's site on il.8to18.com.
The Thunder boys' golf program opens the season starting at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 15 with the varsity and junior varsity in action against Harvard at Oak Grove Golf Course in Harvard. Then, on Aug. 16, the golf teams are back at it when they face Crystal Lake South at Oak Grove Golf Course. Action starts at 4:30 p.m.
The Thunder varsity will host the Woodstock Invitational starting at 1 p.m. Aug. 18 at Bull Valley Golf Club. And on Aug. 20, the WNHS teams are at the Rockford Jefferson Invite, which starts at 8:30 a.m. at Atwood Forest Preserve.
The girls' tennis season also gets going that same week, with the Thunder at the Jacobs Tournament on Aug. 19-20.
