Department Head Reports:

Fred Mullard – Several residents were asking if they could get access to a couple of fire hydrants to paint them teal in support of an ovarian cancer awareness program. Huntley has approved the one in front of their Village Hall for a month or two and then the residents will have it restored. Mr. Mullard thinks we can make something work. We can agree on a time frame for the change and then the group would restore the hydrants after the said time frame. The Village owns all of the hydrants. He was thinking Village Hall and the one at Sunset Park. President Mulcahy received a call from the residents as well.

Fred and Paul are just looking for input. Trustees seem to be in favor of the idea.

Russ Ruzanski – Earlier this evening he attended the ribbon cutting at the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry for Children’s Garden.
