McHenry County State’s Attorney Patrick Kenneally recently announced Judy Shammo will join the Misdemeanor Division as an assistant state’s attorney.
Shammo, a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, comes to McHenry County from a private firm that specializes in foreclosure defense and real estate manners.
While in law school, Shammo interned at the Lake County State’s Attorney’s office and ran Traffic and Misdemeanor Division hearings and trials under attorney supervision. Shammo also worked as a member of her college’s trial advisory team.
“We are fortunate to have such a talented prosecutor join our office and help further our mission of doing justice on behalf of the residents of McHenry County,” a McHenry County news release said.
