Move to approve the minutes of the May 16, 2017, Meeting of the President and Board of Trustees

Move to approve Ordinance 17-18-03 Establishing Prevailing Wage Rates for the Village of Johnsburg

President’s Report

David Ahern: Request for variance to Chapter 24.02F (1) (e) of the Johnsburg Municipal Code to permit two driveways off of one road frontage for the property at 2323 Fairview Avenue.

General Obligation Bonds:

Village Board- Move to accept Authorization of Engagement letters from Bernardi Securities and Ice Miller, LLP for Bond Underwriter and Bond/Disclosure Counsel services related to issuance of General Obligation Bonds

Move to approve Ordinance 17-18-04 Authorizing the Issuance of General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), in one or more series, of the Village of Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $1,055,000 for the purpose of financing the costs of certain capital projects within the Village and paying for costs related thereto.

Ringwood Road Resurfacing Project:

Village Board- Move to approve Intergovernmental Agreement between the Village of Ringwood, City of McHenry, McHenry Township Road District and the Village of Johnsburg relative to Ringwood Road.

Move to approve Short Form Agreement with HR Green for engineering related services for the Ringwood Road resurfacing improvements.

Motion for Closed Session - Move to go into Executive Session to discuss the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the Village.

Closed meetings: The Village Board may hold a closed meeting to consider, among other items, the following under the Illinois Open Meetings Act: 1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the Village, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity; 2) collective negotiating matters between the Village and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; 3) the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the Village; including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired; and 4) litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the Village has been filed and pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the Village finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.
