Seniors in the Woodstock area recently learned about the services offered to them by various groups while attending a free senior health fair run by Rep. Steve Reick (R-Woodstock), according to a press release.
“It was my pleasure to bring together under one roof so many agencies that assist seniors with quality of life issues,” Reick said, according to the release. “I hope the District 63 Senior Fair becomes an annual event.”
According to Reick, approximately 150 seniors and caregivers attended the event at Woodstock’s Lutheran Church. They had the opportunity to speak to representatives from state, county and local agencies that offer senior services, as well as several other organizations that have a presence in the community. Reick also spoke to attendees.
