Rep. Steve Reick (R-Woodstock) will co-host a tax appeals and assessment program on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Woodstock, according to his website.
The program, “Understand & Learn How to Appeal Your Property Tax Assessment,” will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m in the second-floor conference rooms A and B at the McHenry County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road.
Reick will put on the program with Dorr Township Assessor Veronica Myers to instruct attendees on calculating their taxes and the correct process for appealing assessments.

Reick represents the 63rd District, which includes the cities of Marengo, Harvard, McHenry, Richmond, Woodstock and Lawrence.
Reick was elected in 2016 and is a member of the Labor and Commerce, Restorative Justice, Economic Justice and Equity, Elementary and Secondary Education: School Curriculum Policies, and Appropriations-Elementary and Secondary Education committees. Reick also is on the subcommittees for Workers' Compensation and Workforce Reconciliation.
