o City Council Action on any item removed from the consent agenda.
8. Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation/Finding of Facts - Hearing November 7, 2017
o Review the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation to approve the petition submitted by Thomas and Teresa Johnson. The petitioners are requesting relief from Section 17. 1 1 0.040A, Solid Fences to allow for a higher solid fence in the side/front yard and from Section 17.36.050A, Size of Accessory Uses to allow placement of a metal storage container on a concrete pad, Will require City Council action to approve or reject the Commission's recommendation.
9. Required Sanitary Sewer Tap On: David Ludtke, 301 Marengo Road
o Pursuant to a City Council directive for an extension of time, property located at 301 Marengo Rai, was to be tapped on to the City public sanitary system and the existing system abandoned by April 30, 2017. The work has not yet been completed. Action requested is to move forward with Community Development Director Santeller's recommendation to initiate legal action or refer to committee for review.
10. Peddlars & Solicitors License Application
o A Peddlars & Solicitors Permit Application was submitted for Universal Direct Marketing with three individuals identified to solicit: Maria Rosales, Asaad Khamis, Houman Khamis. The background check was satisfactory. Action requested is to approve or deny the application,
11. Memorandum of Understanding Between City of Harvard and CUSD 50 for School Resource Officer
o The proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Harvard and the Board of Education of Harvard Community Unit School District 50 provides for a School Resource Officer (SRO) as outlined Action requested is to authorize the Mayor & City Clerk's execution of all necessary documents.
12. Intergovernmental Agreement with McHenry County and Other Partner Agencies for General Public Dial-A-Ride Transit Services in 2018
o Will require action to authorize execution of the Intergovernmental Agreement.
13. Dissolve Intergovernmental Agreement with McHenry Countyre the William Coventry House
o The existing Intergovernmental Agreement may be terminated in writing upon 30 days' notice. Action requested is to grant Mayor Kelly the authority to submit written notification to McHenry County terminating said agreement.
14. Service Agreement with Keller McIntyre & Associates for Government Relations Services
o The proposed Service Agreement retains Keller McIntyre & Assoc. for government relations services commencing on October 1, 2017 and terminating on September 30, 2018 to pursue federal funding and government relations objectives. Action requested is to authorize City Administrator Nelson's execution of the Service Agreement.
15. Award Property and Liability Insurance 12/2/2017 - 12/1/2018
o Action requested is to award the property and liability insurance coverage to Brit Global Specialty USA/Broker Crum Halsted with an annual premium of $88,901 and to authorize the execution of all necessary documents.
16. Proposed Ordinance Dissolving the Special Tax Allocation Fund for the Redevelopment Project Area and Terminating the Designation of the Redevelopment Project Area as a Redevelopment Project Area.
o Action requested is to approve the proposed ordinance.
17. Proposed Ordinance Accepting the Donation of Lot 2 at the Northwest Corner of Northfield Avenue and Route 14 from Lanacon, LLC.
