Village of Richmond Finance Committee met November 27.

Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:

The Finance Committee meeting held at the Village Hall, 5600 Hunter Drive was called to order by Chairman Ramsin Wardanian at 5:00 PM.

Members Present: Trustees: Dennis Bardy and Ramsin Wardanian.

Members Absent: Trustee TJ Fulmer.

Other Employees/Officials Present: Village President Craig Kunz, Village Clerk Karla Thomas and Auditor George Roach.

Approval of Minutes: The committee reviewed the Special Finance Committee minutes for November 13, 2017.

Trustee Bardy moved, seconded by Trustee Wardanian to approve the Special Finance Committee minutes for November 13, 2017 as presented. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Public Comments: None.

Clerk’s Comments: None.

Unfinished Business: Trustee Wardanian provided a 5-year plan for the IEPA Wastewater Treatment Plant loan restructuring, which was reviewed by the committee and George Roach. The committee discussed with Mr. Roach water/sewer revenues and expenditures. They also discussed capital improvements and a possible bond payoff. Mr. Roach requested that the committee send the water/sewer and septic receiving budget with 5-year projection to him for review, before presenting it to the full Board.

The Village Clerk was directed to have the Finance Clerk prepare a blank 5-year water/sewer and septic receiving budget document for the next Finance Committee meeting.

New Business: None.

Trustee Comments: None.

Adjournment: There being no further business to discuss, Trustee Wardanian moved, seconded by Trustee Bardy to adjourn the November 27, 2017 Special Finance Committee meeting. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Meeting adjourned at 6:15 pm.
