Fox River Grove Library Board Annexation Review Committee met May 9.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Roll Call – Call to order 10:03 am. Gans, Cooper, Zurla, Steeves in attendance.

New Business (all possible action items)
A. Review requirements for possible annexation of Venetian Gardens – Director Steeves reviewed the pending legislation that would affect the Library’s ability to annex the Venetian Gardens subdivision. She summarized the issues for the Board to consider.
B. Assign responsibilities for next steps – Gans will estimate the property value of the Venetian Gardens subdivision parcels and the approximate tax income they might generate for the Library District. Cooper will prepare a brief summary of the questions and issues for the full Board to consider at the next meeting. Steeves will contact the auditor with questions about the Library’s legal representation.
