ALGONQUIN/LAKE IN THE HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Algonquin Founders Day Charity Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show on July 29

Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Join BGV Motorsports, Algonquin Founders' Days and the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce for the Annual Charity Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show, on Sunday, July 29, 10 am - 3 pm. The *ALL NEW* show location is at the JCPenney's Parking Lot at 800 S. Randall Road in Algonquin. Parking lot parking is available for all show vehicles.

***Community Spectators***

The Founders' Days Car Show is free for community spectators and will feature a "Touch-a-Truck" area with municipal vehicles for families to visit. Most Show Cars will be in place for viewing by 11:30 am. Festival Parking is available in the JCPenney's parking lot, as well, and a shuttle service will be available for spectators to be transported to the festival.

***The Car Show Schedule and Vehicle Registration***

For the show vehicle owners - the gates open at 9 am and registration will run onsite only from 10 am - 12 noon. Awards at 2:45 pm.

***The Event Charity****

The Event Charity of Choice is the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231. Each $15 vehicle entry fee, a 50/50 raffle and food proceeds will benefit the Charity. The American Legion will also be providing the food and beverages for the Car Show.

***Dash Plaques and Awards***

Dash Plaques are available for the first 75 vehicles, with 35 Awards.
