City of Harvard City Council met March 26.

6. Appoint/Swear In Ian McCafferty to Fill the Vacancy on the Planning/Zoning Commission

 Action requested is to approve Mayor Kelly’s recommendation to appoint Ian McCafferty to fill the vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission.

7. John Giannasi/Front Street Tap Milk Day Request – Saturday, June 1st, 2019

 John Giannasi/Front Street Tap is requesting a Milk Day Certificate pursuant to Section 25.06B.2. Fees/security deposit have been paid. Will require action from the City Council to approve or deny the request.

8. 2019 MFT Road Program

 The bid opening for the 2019 MFT Road Program was held on March 21, 2019. Action requested is to approve a resolution to award the contract to Chicagoland Paving Contractors Inc. for their low bid in the amount of $227,000.00 and to authorize execution of all contract documents.

9. Police Station Financing

 The bidding process has been complete with a recommendation to engage Sauk Valley Bank for the financing of the Police Station. Action requested is to approve the recommendation and to authorize execution of all contract documents for a 5-year note with a 20 year amortization installment purchase contract at 2.65% interest which may fluctuate slightly upon closing the loan.

10. Set Public Hearing for Budget on April 23, 2019, @ 7 pm
