The data shows that the five released offenders living in the Huntley zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 28. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Daniel Bockenhauer. He was convicted of a property crime in 2016, when he was 24 years old. He is now 27.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
