City of Harvard City Council met June 23.

• Public Hearing pursuant to the requirements of Sections 10 and 20 of the Bond Issuance Notification Act of the State of Illinois, as amended on the plans to issue (A) General Obligation Refunding Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2020A in the amount not to exceed $5,450,000 and (B) to issue General Obligation Refunding Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2020B in the amount not to exceed $1,300,000.

Items under the Consent Agenda are acted upon in a single motion. There is no separate discussion of these items prior to the Council vote unless a Council Member requests that an item be removed from the consent agenda for separate action.

l. Resolution to Close Route 173 between Jefferson St. and Division St. for the Harvard Milk Days Parade on October 17, 2020, contingent upon transition into Phase 5: Illinois Restored

m. Proclamation Designating June, 2020, as Pride Month

n. Payment of bills in the amount of $843,931.75

6. Individual Action Consent Agenda Items

• City Council Action on any item removed from the consent agenda.

7. City Hall Loan

• Action requested is to approve refinancing the current City Hall Loan.

8. Extension of School Resource Officer Agreement

• Action requested is to authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement which extends the term of the agreement until July 31, 2020.
