City of Crystal Lake issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
Lake Avenue between Van Buren Street and Lake Street will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, August 31, 2020 and ending Friday September 4, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. Public Works crews will be making repairs to the sanitary sewer pump station on Lake Avenue.
The detour route for this one-block closure will be Van Buren Street to Lake Street. Signs will be posted
