Crystal Lake Park District issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
Enjoy a beautiful night under the stars as we light a trail through our magnificent Veteran Acres. Our Luminaria trail (3/4 mi) is a mixture of paved, gravel and grassy surfaces. Low mobility trail and map available.
To maintain social distancing, we will be starting groups from either the Veteran Acres picnic shelter or Nature Center. Register your group for a time slot (every 15 minutes). Hot cocoa will be available at entry/exit points however, s'mores will be handed to go. Fires will be going to warm your hands, but with limited congregating.
Suggested donation: $1 per person/$5 max to go towards future outdoor education programs.
