Sidewalks Two Year Planning Program

Administrator Nelson informed the committee that the current list of sidewalks along Rt. 14 will be delayed at least one year due to additional requirements by IDOT. The review process with the state is very tedious and time consuming. The committee reviewed the current list of sidewalk ratings and determined it would be in our best interest to have this list be the 2022 sidewalk program with the Rt. 14 sidewalks acting as a 2023 project. The committee would like to do the following sidewalks in 2022

Motion by Alderwoman Haderlein seconded Alderman Lavallee to adopt the following area for the 2022 sidewalk program.

2nd Street both sides from Burbank Street to Brown Street

2nd Street from Brown Street to Blackman Street on the West side.

All intersection corners will be done to ADA standards.
