Mark Carroll for Congress has issued the following press release:

The Center Square published an article the other day stating a decline in the requests for mail-in ballots in not just Illinois, but across the nation, with Tazewell County Clerk John Ackerman saying voters in early primary states have been returning to in-person voting this year and that appears to be playing out in Illinois, 'Saw the same thing so far play out in Indiana and Ohio as well as where they had the primary election already,' Ackerman said. 'I'm hearing that from all of my colleagues across the state that vote by mail numbers appear to be down at this point."

Mark Carroll (CD IL-11 Candidate) continues, "It is no surprise that mail-in voting is down. Republicans traditionally vote in person. The democratic voters are completely disillusioned with their own leadership!"

"Voters have proven once again that they understand the very real risks of mail-in voting and care about their vote being accurately counted in person." says Mark.

"We deserve a fair and free election process. I urge all voters to become fully educated with the process their county uses. Hold your elected officials accountable. I would expect constituents to treat me the same way if I am blessed to become their Congressman."

Mark Joseph Carroll is has been endorsed by several townships, organizations, and elected officials throughout Illinois’ 11th Congressional District. IL-11 encompasses portions of Lake, McHenry, Boone, DeKalb, Kane, DuPage, Cook and Will counties. For more information head to www.markcarrollforcongress.com.
