Public Comment
The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda or of a general nature. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events) Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting.
1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All
All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.
A. Village Board Meeting Minutes – July 5, 2022
The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.
B. Accounts Payable – July 19, 2022 and August 2, 2022
The Board will consider the payment of bills.
C. Treasurer’s Report – May 2022
The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.
D. Design Engineering Services Agreement, Lincoln Avenue Sewer Replacement Project
The Board will consider the approval of an agreement with Baxter & Woodman to provide design engineering services for the Lincoln Avenue Sewer Replacement Project. The Village was awarded $148,400 in community development block grant (CDBG) funds from McHenry County to complete the project.
2. Approval: Reject All Bids – RBC Replacement Project
The Board will consider whether or not to reject bids it received for the replacement of the rotating biological contactors at the wastewater plant and rebid the project for construction in next fiscal year. All bids received were over the project’s budget.
